Outside the country?

2018-11-13 12:24:27 UTC

🙂

2018-11-13 12:24:29 UTC

You mean in California?

2018-11-13 12:25:03 UTC

as someone in california, the truth hurts sometimes

2018-11-13 12:25:11 UTC

Aye.

2018-11-13 12:25:19 UTC

I talk shit about my country all the time.

2018-11-13 12:25:36 UTC

I'm against this whole push of thinking single mothers can raise children normally withiut fathers or serious male role models ln society ...

2018-11-13 12:25:46 UTC

It's fun, because people living in a country are best able to make fun of it.

2018-11-13 12:26:53 UTC

@Coochie coo yea the single mothers thing is dumb because there are some things that children need from a father

2018-11-13 12:27:22 UTC

I mean they can, but their lives will be miserable, their daughters will have all sorts of issues, and their sons will be wimpy as hell

2018-11-13 12:27:27 UTC

Either way, raising a child is a fulltime job. So you are either working or raising kids.

2018-11-13 12:27:28 UTC

My family is in California I'm on the opposite side of the continent in canada

2018-11-13 12:27:30 UTC

Well, there's even more of a problem than that.

2018-11-13 12:27:40 UTC

people will find role models

2018-11-13 12:27:44 UTC
2018-11-13 12:27:55 UTC

>You are worth whatever the market says you are worth.
this is just fuel for the commie fire
it's not really that the market decides the value of a human life, theres no need to admit something cold hearted that isn't even true
it's just about how much people subjectively happen to value the work you do

2018-11-13 12:27:57 UTC

that's what we do. The main problem is that a lot of the time, there aren't good role models

2018-11-13 12:28:16 UTC

@Coochie coo I feel sorry for your family that they have to stay in California

2018-11-13 12:28:26 UTC

Native, that's... what is meant by the market, though.

2018-11-13 12:28:34 UTC

My mom use to tell me when I was young you don't need fathers, children dont need them... horrid thing

2018-11-13 12:28:34 UTC

Why are you conflating the value of a human life with a piece of art?

2018-11-13 12:28:41 UTC

the market decides on the price of the art, not the person

2018-11-13 12:28:43 UTC

well the market hasnt valued justin bieber or whatever to have higher value as humans than anyone else

2018-11-13 12:28:52 UTC

That's quite a stretch from what I said.

2018-11-13 12:28:59 UTC

@Undead Mockingbird That kind of thinking is what causes helicopter parents. It's not a full-time job, kids need a break from their parents too. Doesn't make single parent families any better though.

2018-11-13 12:29:00 UTC

>You are worth whatever the market says you are worth.

2018-11-13 12:29:21 UTC

the implication was the artwork, not the human life

2018-11-13 12:29:23 UTC

Kids need a break from their parents?

2018-11-13 12:29:30 UTC

@Coochie coo y did your mother tell you that :(

2018-11-13 12:29:32 UTC

>you are worth

2018-11-13 12:29:35 UTC

I am not sure. Maybe short ones here and there. They need to go out and explore.

2018-11-13 12:29:36 UTC

commies make this argument to prove how evil capitalism is

2018-11-13 12:29:41 UTC

My social science class has turned into political indoctrination

2018-11-13 12:29:44 UTC

it's an expression, my dude.

2018-11-13 12:29:58 UTC

well commies takes the expression literally

2018-11-13 12:30:04 UTC

are you a commie?

2018-11-13 12:30:05 UTC

But a child who spends more than a few hours in child care has the same abandonment issues as a child that was completely separated from their parents.

2018-11-13 12:30:11 UTC

i'm an ancap

2018-11-13 12:30:20 UTC

...what's that

2018-11-13 12:30:24 UTC

I'd say that is a very strong indication children do not need breaks from their parents.

2018-11-13 12:30:30 UTC

I need help
