What do all these have in common?
Even CNN sees it, but they just can't call it by its name.
Haha frig, I make less that 45k a year, (also an artist, no judge) but I also decided not to have children bc of it lol -- I also wouldn't consider myself "poor" per say...
You can do what you like and I won't judge you for it.
But if you are delusional about the implications, that's where my sympathy ends.
As long as you are realistic about things and don't expect things from others - no problem from me.
Live and let live.
You are worth whatever the market says you are worth.
But that's just the monetary value. What you get out of your work can be completely different.
yeah seriously... I also live outside the country and have no family near family 😠Haha, my circumstances are different...
@Coochie coo hey
Outside the country?
🙂
You mean in California?
as someone in california, the truth hurts sometimes
Aye.
I talk shit about my country all the time.
I'm against this whole push of thinking single mothers can raise children normally withiut fathers or serious male role models ln society ...
It's fun, because people living in a country are best able to make fun of it.
@Coochie coo yea the single mothers thing is dumb because there are some things that children need from a father
I mean they can, but their lives will be miserable, their daughters will have all sorts of issues, and their sons will be wimpy as hell
Either way, raising a child is a fulltime job. So you are either working or raising kids.
My family is in California I'm on the opposite side of the continent in canada
Well, there's even more of a problem than that.
people will find role models
Hi!! @airplaneman
>You are worth whatever the market says you are worth.
this is just fuel for the commie fire
it's not really that the market decides the value of a human life, theres no need to admit something cold hearted that isn't even true
it's just about how much people subjectively happen to value the work you do
that's what we do. The main problem is that a lot of the time, there aren't good role models
@Coochie coo I feel sorry for your family that they have to stay in California
Native, that's... what is meant by the market, though.
My mom use to tell me when I was young you don't need fathers, children dont need them... horrid thing
Why are you conflating the value of a human life with a piece of art?
the market decides on the price of the art, not the person
well the market hasnt valued justin bieber or whatever to have higher value as humans than anyone else
That's quite a stretch from what I said.
@Undead Mockingbird That kind of thinking is what causes helicopter parents. It's not a full-time job, kids need a break from their parents too. Doesn't make single parent families any better though.
>You are worth whatever the market says you are worth.
the implication was the artwork, not the human life
Kids need a break from their parents?
@Coochie coo y did your mother tell you that :(
>you are worth
