Any rate, I agree no breed is "Inherently evil and aggressive," some just take a different type of family love.

@Existence is identity totally agree, that is why I rejected that notion. All dogs need a loving family, some just need a differnent type of love.

For basset hounds I recommend a deaf family.

Ironically, American Bulldogs and Pit Bull Terriers are frequently rated as dogs highly compatible with children. They're also dogs that are said to not be good for first time dog owners, which I suspect is there the wrench gets thrown in

My mom owns 5 rescues and makes all her own dog food 😮 she a cray person

My mom adopted a puppy and when I went to visit her, the puppy seemed to want to fight me when I had my cane, so I suspect he was abused by an older person who also needs a cane
