I didn't really do any farming though. I just played the game.
I always felt bad when i'd see a new weapon and had to ditch an old one
If i would say anything about the weapon breakage, they should allow you to repair them
I fel like it's a bit like the first Dead Rising... When I first beat that freaking clown with the minichainsaws, I thought his weapon would be crazy badass beyond all words, and I would be eager to go get it and use the hell out of it, and I'd be great.
... then I got the weapon... and just making kills to get out of that zone, the weapon would already be about to break. So if I turned around and went back for another (rinse and repeat), by the time I got a single one that was in pristine condition, I would've had to raid the area like 20 times.
Later I got more inventory space of course, and learned about books, which each book you had related to a weapon doubled its durability... so 3 books on it, and suddenly it had 800% durability. And then 2 or 3 lasted me for freaking ever.
but... that initial feel... that's what I feel like with BotW.
The weapons are just... TOO fragile, and there's no saving them, no repair, no anything of note to make finding a rare and powerful weapon actually FEEL rare or powerful.
It probably sounds greedy, but i'd like to see them pursue both more botw style and more classic style
I think if they took a Diablo approach to weapon durability, sure keep the durability low, but when it breaks, it just sits in your inventory until you repair it...
Then actually make some weapons rare and powerful and worth hunting down.
That would really shift a lot of the feel.
You find a rare magic ice sword, and you'll still use it somewhat sparingly, but when it's time to use it, BREAK IT OUT, because even if it breaks, you can go fix it later.
yeah, something like that would be cool
Sure have BS weapons you can toss and not care about either, but those would be really commonplace nonsense. Maybe improve weapon selection a bit while you're at it. Little improvements the game clearly needs.
as for a modern zelda sidescroller... I think the world could always use more new (high quality, not the shitstorm of crappy ones that've been flooding steam lately) Metroidvanias.
Only if it makes me cry like an anime fan on prom night.
I'm curious to see what they're going to do with Prime 4.
I liked 1 and 2, but I wasn't a big fan of the Wii controls.
scary as hell
i like the old timey music
So it sounds like the EU is saying Hitler did nothing wrong. His real mistake was just that he should've invited them to grovel at his feet and they would've come willingly.
Love him or hate him, hitler followed his heart.
but why did poland not just give up sovereignty ... tut tut
not like france... france was a good boy... gave up sovereignty nice n easy
Poland and France both remained in exile because DeGaulle didn't recognize Vichy

you're not really singing, you're just shrieking melodically, lady.
hey! thats a god-damned siren
@Inquisition yeah, the gun channel situation on YouTube is downright confusing
@Inquisition I think they just wanted the publicity of announcing they would crack down, without the negative long term effects of actually doing it
errr just watching tims gun video 😛
where he says nukes dont win wars... I mean... theyve onlybeen used once... and Im pretty sure they ended WW2 😛
and when I say once, I mean the 2 nukes in japan
Tim, despite his great alt-rightness, is still correct. Aside from killing and destruction nukes don't secure control over enemy lands.
thats not what he said though.. he said nukes dont win wars.... WW2 was won with 2 nukes
at least the US-Japan part of it
But those two nukes were just a small part of the war.
It's also arguable that firebombing through the war did more damage and more casulaities during the war.
