but from a lot of us soldiers recounts is that the 5.56 is too high velocity and doest cause enough internal damage from close range

sometimes they would pass by organs with no damage

one of my employees got shot during a robbery at work (south africa this shit is common) it was by a 9mm it passed his liver by a few mm and left no damage, whereas from farther range the bullet starts to tumble and when it hits a target then it causes more damage when passing through

but again there was about a million variables that could change resuslts
