Bullshit, I have seen police illegally disperse and detain before.

Also maybe it's because you constitutionally can't disperse people's right to peacefully protest, no matter how virolent their opinions are, no matter how cringy I think the KKK are, i never see their protests vandalizing, breaking into and robbing stores, or setting things on fire, or tipping over vehicles.
