I am from Alabama.
No pleasant purpose
I’m a Southerner.
Is that Dixie?
Yes.
Aye, nice
But as you mentioned; China.
China May befriend South Carolina, Alaska or any seceding state same for Russia and Iran (or all of USAs rivals for that matter) to rush in and capitalize.
GG @Deleted User, you just advanced to level 9!
Funding the seceded states, strongarming the planet, full geopolitics at play.
Avoid that at all costs
China cannot be an ally
The world isn’t isolating itself anymore. I’d say, Alabama leaves you may see Russian lobbyists in Montgomery trying to set up Air Force or naval bases to help “defend” the republic.
Russia does the same for Belarus, offering it protection.
You think America being as jewed as it is is bad
But the principle I defend secession so zealously is that if the government at home is no longer capable and cannot be saved, do not let yourself sink with the ship. Get out.
Wait until it's chinked
I am aware.
Kenya is a.. Glorious example of Chinkification.
But that isn’t the point I am making, we already established outside powers will be prompting up seceded states to inflate their profits at USAs weakness, opportunistically.
But the goal is that you can become a successful—even thriving—republic of smaller size (say, Louisiana) and still make a profit.
Now; Hawaii is a much different story..
But we’re talking about the mainland tho.
It is not cowardice to safeguard your own regional interests at the sacrifice of luxury. It is duty and principle instinct.

Gold can be easily devalued making it only a yellow brick.
And fuck your mom
Like how silver was.
I’d say in spirit of Patrick Henry: “Give me Liberty or give me death!”
If death be our destination then let us hasten it with bold courage to say the word “No” to nonsense. If we are denied reform, denied our due privileges and process and our most basic fundamental liberties, only **then** do we choose secession.
Secession is not the first option, it is the most extreme for a reason. That is why I agree with Alice we shouldn’t leave because it’s hard, but only when it becomes realistically impossible do we seek our fortunes elsewhere via secession.
Surely, we can agree on this. @Alpaca13
