That's an issue with big pharma and corruption, not doctors.

Generally there's no other way

Pain medicine is fecken stupid but there's no real alternative

The fact that it's so terribly addictive and it seems that big pharma wants it that way is not under the control of the doctor

Even then, many vitamin tabs don't properly enter your body. Apparently the best way to test them is to see if they dissolve in apple cider vinegar

Almost everything you have ever known is a farce

After my toothache, those two-three weeks of the worst pain I've ever known in my life, I came to realize that's my pain, my own doing and why would I pay to have that reality stolen from me with pills (it was stupid of me to not just get the tooth removed I guess) but painkillers, embrace the pain

Or you grow sensitive to pain and dependant on painkillers
