I have a business (technically), but I do not wish to anchor myself to YouTube and such.

@Issa Dornan they tax a **FUCK TON** of that, then you will only see half of what's left, then the rest is slowly trickled in over time.

30% of that bonus is taken by the government, so thats about $10,000 there.

That's why I decided Marines without bonus aswell, because the Army will screw you up your asshole, to give as least of that bonus as they can.

I think the army is a better choice for a career than the Marines since I'm a lifet

And yeah, even without a signing bonus is go Army, it's just a really big fuckin cherry on top

They cut pensions, you no longer get real retirement from the military.

The most you get is a little 401k, and the VA.

The guys who went In like a year ago were the last people to ever receive retirement pensions.

Lifer was a good option, a very good option, but the military has left all career soldiers, sailors, etc, to be thrown into the world with no protection, at a middle age, or sometimes older.

For the benefits of service, nothing over 4 years is worth it, you have received all benefits you will get.

Tricare does cover a lot now, the part that sucks about Tricare is that barely anybody takes it and it’s really complicated. You can’t just go see a doctor when you need to. You need referrals and shit constantly

That’s probably why a lot of people don’t bother with Tricare because it’s a lot of extra paperwork
