They will have 7 carriers by the mid-2020's

2019-12-15 19:41:48 UTC

They will equal the US just about with ability to transport aircraft.

2019-12-15 19:42:01 UTC

The US has 10.

2019-12-15 19:42:39 UTC

Italy is currently second, they have 3.

2019-12-15 19:42:40 UTC

Meaning they will rival their capacity to patrol the oceans

2019-12-15 19:43:20 UTC

Was any carriers sunk in pearl harbour?

2019-12-15 19:43:50 UTC

China knows that conflict with the US will be heavily Naval, it will literally be WW2 Pacific again, with Marines doing most land fighting.

2019-12-15 19:43:50 UTC

I don't think so

2019-12-15 19:44:02 UTC

Yeah

2019-12-15 19:45:00 UTC

China is currently securing rights to build Russia's newest fighters domestically.

2019-12-15 19:45:08 UTC

Russia has been very iffy on letting them.

2019-12-15 19:45:19 UTC

We should really amp Japan's defensive capabilities

2019-12-15 19:45:56 UTC

We need to let Japan re-arm.

2019-12-15 19:45:59 UTC

China can be beaten in a long game though, it's such an unnatural state that the fact it exists at all is surprising and a testament to authoritarianism

2019-12-15 19:46:26 UTC

Hard to believe that in 17 days

2019-12-15 19:46:30 UTC

India will be a superpower

2019-12-15 19:46:37 UTC

Oof

2019-12-15 19:46:59 UTC

I feel like China is going for running on its weight alone

2019-12-15 19:47:08 UTC

So time would win

2019-12-15 19:47:21 UTC

But I don't know much about that stuff

2019-12-15 19:47:38 UTC

During WW2 land fighting was divided by branch, the Marines did all land fighting in the Pacific, and the Army did all land fighting in Europe and North Africa.

2019-12-15 19:50:03 UTC

But during WWI both worked side by side.

2019-12-15 19:53:07 UTC

At least World War 2 wasn't done as stupidly as 1

2019-12-15 19:53:22 UTC

With all the field experiments

2019-12-15 20:08:45 UTC

I am taking apart my childhood PC

2019-12-15 20:08:58 UTC

Hasn't been touched in maybe a decade.

2019-12-15 20:09:14 UTC

2019-12-15 20:09:22 UTC

That was gaming quality back then lmfao

2019-12-15 20:10:02 UTC

It has a graphics card I can't identify.

2019-12-15 20:10:13 UTC

This was considered a gaming PC back in the day.

2019-12-15 20:13:15 UTC

2019-12-15 20:16:41 UTC

80gb hard drive, that shit held everything back then.

2019-12-15 20:24:19 UTC

Literally gta was 90gb so oof

2019-12-15 20:28:17 UTC

Its called a VGA graphics adaptor when I plugged it into a newer PC

2019-12-15 20:28:35 UTC

So, it's a old gaming card.

2019-12-15 20:48:39 UTC

The processor is a 2001 model of the Pentium series.

2019-12-15 20:48:57 UTC

They hadn't even come out with the i series yet.

2019-12-15 20:57:38 UTC

Now to disect my other computer from the 90's

2019-12-15 21:00:12 UTC

I have some Windows Vista computer that still somehow manages to run despite me using the case as a hiding spot

2019-12-15 21:09:21 UTC

All these I have were top of the line beasts in their day.
