also, why no therapy

2018-12-07 02:41:16 UTC

Because I didn't think I needed it.

2018-12-07 02:41:33 UTC

🤔

2018-12-07 02:41:44 UTC

you still don't think you need it?

2018-12-07 02:41:51 UTC

The doctors released me from hospital without any medical attention, the sheriff kept trying to interogate me on the girdie but my mom stopped him.

2018-12-07 02:41:58 UTC

I am kind of embarassed now to ask.

2018-12-07 02:42:02 UTC

swelling, bleeding in the brain, contusions.... the fuck was that sherrif and hospital thinking?

2018-12-07 02:42:05 UTC

What would I tell them.... I can't remember everything that happened.

2018-12-07 02:42:09 UTC

🤔 🤔 🤔

2018-12-07 02:42:20 UTC

Well you pretty thoroughly explained it here lol

2018-12-07 02:42:23 UTC

Mine are social triggers, I.e.: people getting in my face talking down to me... I feel like I loose control of my mind and want to fight them, then other times, I will literally run away sobbing in public -- fight or flight 🤡

2018-12-07 02:42:25 UTC

literally everything you've told us :jackie_chan_what:

2018-12-07 02:42:25 UTC

I do have memory issues, lots of things I can't remember.

2018-12-07 02:42:40 UTC

There is parts of the accident I can't remember.

2018-12-07 02:42:44 UTC

I told you all I could remember.

2018-12-07 02:43:04 UTC

@Coochie coo a normalization in the amygdala to the effects of adrenaline. They have you on meditation and other relaxation classes?

2018-12-07 02:43:05 UTC

I still not sure how the cops found us, we were in the middle of no where.

2018-12-07 02:43:25 UTC

And it was nighttime.

2018-12-07 02:43:36 UTC

I don't see why it'd matter what you remember in regards to psychiatric therapy

2018-12-07 02:43:59 UTC

I mean, it could help, but I highly doubt you not remembering exactly how the accident occurred stops treament

2018-12-07 02:44:12 UTC

@Coochie coo or a therapy dog? labs are great for those with ptsd

2018-12-07 02:44:22 UTC

I'm on pristiq, and in group therapy for social phobia :)

2018-12-07 02:44:35 UTC

I can remember everything what happen during the wreck and at the hospital, but how the cops got there or how I ended up in the hospital.

2018-12-07 02:44:55 UTC

I just filled in how I got to the hospital because they would use a ambulance right?

2018-12-07 02:45:11 UTC

I don't even remember what caused the wreck.

2018-12-07 02:45:15 UTC

I seriously don't think any of that matters

2018-12-07 02:45:21 UTC

like, what you don't remember

2018-12-07 02:45:51 UTC

like, the therapist isn't gonna be like, "yeah, you've got [all the symptoms you told us], but how'd you get to the hospital?"

2018-12-07 02:46:06 UTC

So I should see a therapist about this?

2018-12-07 02:46:11 UTC

absolutely

2018-12-07 02:46:11 UTC

I'm looking into getting a dog actually, probably not a therapy dog as they are $$$ but I'll definately take it to obedience class :) @Misomania

2018-12-07 02:46:14 UTC

Even if it been 10 years.

2018-12-07 02:46:22 UTC

or do research about what you can do for yourself

2018-12-07 02:46:28 UTC

Im back retards *dab*

2018-12-07 02:46:33 UTC

Doesn't matter how long it's been

2018-12-07 02:46:33 UTC

but a therapist is probably more reliable

2018-12-07 02:46:36 UTC

^

2018-12-07 02:47:25 UTC

if you can't afford it or don't trust them, try to do some of it yourself

2018-12-07 02:47:34 UTC

I have a lot of trust issues.

2018-12-07 02:47:42 UTC

the more you expose yourself to what triggers you, the more you'll overcome the issue
