Politics Home reports that the former head of the House of Commons standards and privileges committees “angrily confronted” Jeremy Corbyn after Labour blocked Jess Phillips’ appointment to the watchdog.
PoliticsHome reported last month that the Birmingham Yardley MP had been nominated by Labour to take a seat on the committee, with the appointment even appearing on the House of Commons order paper on 19 November.
Kevin Barron, who stepped down as chair of the commitee this year, was said to have raised the issue with Labour’s chief whip Nick Brown at the party’s weekly meeting of MPs on Tuesday night, which Corbyn also attended.

i pay 20% tax on everything i buy. on some products, there are special taxes ontop of that.
e.g. if a car costs 20.000€ without tax, i first have to pay 2-16% "fuel consumption" tax on that, would be 23200, and then 20% ontop of that. = 27840
