They're messy and require a lot of relational investment if you want to be friends with them

Basically I know that if -God- knows I'm doing something that the church would interpret as something questionable, then I'm violating my commission as a leader in the church even if it's not outlined or I don't think it's a sin.

For the record I don't think God cares if I smoke weed but he does care about the example I set for the church.
