Weve all been affected by this. I found out yesterday one of the girls I was in foster care with took her own life a month after being out of the system.

For everyone who dosent know, I work with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and next week me and @jecc13 are going to take a class to be of better help to tbose that need it. Especially here

Im part of a board that helps the legislation for foster kids and their access to resources.

You have to be a foster kid to be part of the board. Weve actually changed some shit so far

Im working on something now that allows the court to see even expunged/sealed/aquited records of those applying to be a foster parent

Because some of these sickos got the money to hide shit. Even court shit.

Im trying to get stuff passed to make it so they cant do that anymore. Foster homes are a fuckin joke most of the time
