So I was doing a class trip to the local jail for extra credit for a college course. So when it comes to the dinimg facilities the COs talk about how bad the food is. They no joke saved a tray from chow earlier that day and told us to unwrap the plastic to look at it and smell it. Well I shit you not it smelled and lioked exactly like a chili mac MRE and while most of the civvies in class thought it was rank, the 3 people and myself who've been around the military, including the COs, thought it was great and wondered if we could get a serving
