depends really

2018-12-15 14:15:41 UTC

Who knows

2018-12-15 14:15:49 UTC

10 years?

2018-12-15 14:16:02 UTC

shouldnt the speeds just keep increasing?

2018-12-15 14:16:03 UTC

Point is the ISPs wanted NN lifted for a reason, we'll see why eventually

2018-12-15 14:16:08 UTC

if the ISP's do it over 10 years you'll hardly see any outrage, its the frog in the pan

2018-12-15 14:17:39 UTC

Also the concern with net neutrality repeal isnt slowing down of speeds, its certain websites being throttled, the unthrottled speed of your internet will only go up over time due to upgrades in infrastructure

2018-12-15 14:17:44 UTC

maybe its so big companies like facebook/google can bribe ISP's do start throddling competitors

2018-12-15 14:18:41 UTC

i guess i'll check back after another year

2018-12-15 14:20:03 UTC

Um, it is recognised here that Repubs generally are against net neutrality and Dems are for it, right? Have I fallen into an alternate universe where you're all Democrats now? O_O

2018-12-15 14:20:18 UTC

republicans believe in democracy too

2018-12-15 14:21:00 UTC

i seem to know a lot of conservatives who are pro net neutrality

2018-12-15 14:21:25 UTC

I'm pretty sure net neutrality was popular when people were polled on the issue, something like 80% approval

Being for net neutrality doesn't make you a democrat and i don't identify as a democrat, though i am center left

2018-12-15 14:21:34 UTC

Just because someone favors a party

2018-12-15 14:21:43 UTC

Doesnt mean they vote straight 1 way

2018-12-15 14:22:02 UTC

i think you can draw parallels between net neutrality and other left leaning type regulations of market prices

2018-12-15 14:22:38 UTC

you must be a democrat Cat,

cuz you only believe in extremes 😉

2018-12-15 14:23:36 UTC

all reps against, all dems for

2018-12-15 14:23:41 UTC

Naw, I just sometimes wonder if this site thinks Trump is perfect and the Dems are evil since that's, like, the entire narrative

2018-12-15 14:23:53 UTC

thats every media

2018-12-15 14:23:59 UTC

look at Tim

2018-12-15 14:26:12 UTC

i don't really hang around people who think trump is perfect
but a lot of people i know thinks he was a good thing to happen all-in-all

2018-12-15 14:26:34 UTC

but more just from a disruptionism standpoint

2018-12-15 14:26:46 UTC

^

2018-12-15 14:26:53 UTC

not actually so much in agreements of his policies or anything

2018-12-15 14:26:58 UTC

I think Trump was good for the supreme court justice picks, we need judges that are willing to uphold the 2nd amendment

2018-12-15 14:27:06 UTC

Im not gonna agree with all of his policies

2018-12-15 14:27:20 UTC

But im willing to compromise some to get some of the things I desire

2018-12-15 14:28:17 UTC

i actually think his polices are pretty establishment

2018-12-15 14:28:23 UTC

similar to obamas

2018-12-15 14:28:40 UTC

He was a new york democrat

2018-12-15 14:29:32 UTC

i was hoping the trump derangement syndrome would lead people to be more pro minarchism in general, but doesn't seem like it

2018-12-15 14:30:12 UTC

Yeah the response is just "lets hit them back harder"

2018-12-15 14:30:20 UTC

yeah

2018-12-15 14:30:42 UTC

He's pretty establishment, but at least trump has a smaller body count

2018-12-15 14:30:51 UTC

@NativeInterface i wish it did lead people to less of this stupidity it seems stupid makes stupid worse

2018-12-15 14:31:18 UTC

lack of body count probably just has to do with being a noob

2018-12-15 14:31:21 UTC

I'm also looking forward to him passing the prison reform bill
