reading legislation is like reading assignments at school for politicians.
They have rule that they cant vote on things unless they read it
Its public pledge
do they take a "i read it test"?
No
they look up the cliff notes version or make up BS that it is about and hope the teacher believes them.
Idk Its just stupid shit I say
But if you catch them breaking it
They can get deselected
no one catches them breaking it, cuz none read it
Within interparty referendum
who watches the watchers?
they'll be like "aah, yes, taht thing that person said, taht was inthere somewhere"
They have some wacky rules tbh
Lel
smells like just another way for corruption.
"pay me some money or i say you didn't read it"
lmao
don't forget this guy exists
Lmao
Then the other parties
So it has positive effect lel
geez man. 156 pages for this
that's waaay too many clauses
156 pages,
150 of which are repeating drivel, trust me
bureaucratic nonsense
hell, even the declaration for human rights is less than 100
that's the problem - all of these clauses can f* the whole document up
this is insane 😅
trust me its full of shite like
"This pact will be used by the parties involved to ensure the continued safety and progress of the citizens of the countries that are part of the parties involved of the signing of this declaration, not those outside the countries that are part of the parties involved of the signing of this declaration"
which in short just means "People who signed this will use this"
basically the average preamble tho
I'm really worried for what the meat of the document is about
with all of the UN documents inter-connecting between one another
with all of these pages, somethings bound to be in there that shouldn't be
thats just the thing
no one knows the exact laws anymore, cuz they're too big/broad
which means you now get to pick and choose
which is exactly how states like it
