Isn't Duterte technically a socialist himself?
I mean his party was originally super left-wing
https://thediplomat.com/2017/05/is-the-philippines-duterte-really-a-leftist/ This does make for an interesting read, since it feels like Duterte is all over the place
The President of the Phillippines?
Yeah
If his policies is taking your right to your own labour he is or a socialist.
What is super left wing?, Sounds scary
so, for some reason I ended up in some "alt-right" and "white supremacist" people articles on wikipedia
the talk page is basically proof of why wikipedia can't be trusted for anything but simple science topics
they label someone "white supremacist", and it shows first result on google, and the citation is a random blog
a random activist blog
apparently at some point one article had links to black on white gay porn as citations for months XD
wikipedia isn't reliable on facts or politics or science,
Only on concept and basic understanding
Yeah i find the same sorr of thing, In New Zealand we dont deal with this crap, we get along well.
plus it seems that the same names of editors show up in a lot of articles
and in some talk pages they even question if those people are splc employees
Yeh they modify articles particularly polical ones on an hourly basins
"Nectarflow" "Friendship & Rainbows" sound more like tumblr names than wikipedia editors
There was recently an article about ADL training ppl to "strategically edit" Wikipedia
they do workshops on that
ADL?
antidefamation league
Anti Defamation League
Oh God...
they're probably to the left of SPLC
it's nearly impossible to explain gamergate to a pleb since they always go to wikipedia and treat it like gospel
in germany the Amadeu Antonio Stiftung recently was attacked for providing schools with a book intended to reveal nazi parents of children. Based on how the children look.
Wikipedia is good for many things; fact checking is rarely one of them, especially since is it's user driven
there are so many people who if you listen to them come off as decent even if you disagree with them.. go to the Wikipedia page and they're like the worst nazi woman hater genocide promoter or something
