AI would have an efficiency
Really
I am not a puritan
if they overtake humans even peacefully, that would result in a totalitarian regime because that's the most efficient system
But they have emotion
Emotion is inefficient
who gives them emotion?
humans?
Obviously
You need to make human existence mutually beneficial for A.I.
Science
just checking, because a computer wouldn't create emotions for themselves, they are inefficient
Basically A.I. can't live without us.
unless there's a specific reason for them to be there
Well it would have to be both sentient and sapient. To feel and think outside of the orriginal intent of the program.
emotion must exist in the structure
once emotion exists, they'd seek to be happy, yes?
Like a limbic system
Yes @GoldenPhoenix
They also need to learn Empathy and Understanding.
That's when we mix religion in
To be able to put themselves in our shoes.
that's the biggest unknown
Understand our point of view.
AI that can live without us is already the gist of unsupervised learning algorithms.
Religion time
And to sympathizes with us.
Anyways AFK.
A.I. also need to feel pain. >.>
Now AFK.
In essence, sympathy and empathy... hence why i would give them that ability to look all over the world to see every human in their struggles and to have that discussion.
In the word of spiritualists from stellaris, "thinking machines are an affront to nature"
Bullshit word
Vertebrates are thinking machines.
How about giving them pain systems
Any organism with 2 nerve cells is a thinking machine.
Semantics
I think that would be good... it's a way to understand the biological.
my brother came up with a way to make AI that works with humans but without using the 3 laws system
you can not fully explain pain, but to experience it... that is much more of a commonality to work from.
