Some info about the economic and welfare system in Denmark.
**Corporate taxes** is effectively a taxation on small businesses. Multinationals have options open to them to create elaborate tax evasion schemes legally. The corporate tax rate in DK is still lower than the US.
**Minimum wages** is an excuse used to disable the free and fair markets for wages. Employers uses it as a reference to avoid salary adjustment, by referring to the law mandated salary. In my country of Denmark, there is no mandated minimum wage.
**Government welfare** if you are out of a job and need money. You can request aid, it amounts to about a college scholarship, from this you must manage yourself, pay rent buy food etc. in order to be eligible you must take any job you are offered, excluding prostitution or adult modeling, both are legal.
**unions** are in actuality an unemployment insurance in my country. Union members can demand from their unions their salary for two years at 80% levels, at the level when they lost their job. This have resulted in unions hoarding lots of funds. Side effect is the most powerful union is the DJØF Union of Danish lawyers abd Economists.
