and the local language is bascially a mix of both.
ethnicy wise , the arab diaspora has a few of them
Berber for a start, egyptians, jews (from yemen and morocco mainly) , levant arabs and the peninsula arabs
and tbh the only thing they had in common was the language
up till the rise of nationalism in the 19th century.
I know this is 4 years old, but seeing a liberal get hit with reality is fun to see.

Turns out he's a wife beater and a drunk.
She's really authoritarian
we all know that theres no real christianity in muslim countries
not sure if satire or not <:TimThink:482277772497125378>
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
although by proximity to the point of origin, they sure looks like to have a better legitimacy than the american christianity.
definitely.
tfw mudslimes are so violent the shia and sunni have been at war since the day muhammad died
and there will never be an islamic feformation like with christianity or Judaism
it's an awkward history
i know some of it but go ahead because theres definitely a lot i dont know
there weren't shia, sunni and other groups
after some wars and conquests
spreading islam
muhammed died
and the rashid caliphate began
Abu Bakir ruled first as muhammed assigned him
2nd caliphate was Omar ibn Alkhattab
3rd one was Othman bin Affan
and the 4th and last one was Ali bin abi Taleb ( muhammed's cousin)
muslim confirmed
and back during the Rashid caliphate they assigned the caliph with a council that choose them
however there was 1 count that really wanted the caliphate, Muawiyyah I which overthrew Ali and tricked him
the Shia are the group that believe that Ali was still the Legitimate caliph
while Sunnis followed Muawiyyah
the event was also known as the 1st Fitna
which is a series of a few battles and an arbitration where Ali was basically robbed from his caliphate.
thank you
most schools of thought in islam happened because of incidents like that
