well, if a transgender tells you "i feel like a man", then it means two things :
1- there is such a thing as feeling like a man, that most men are thus supposed to feel
2- they claim to know what this feeling is, and are sure that they're not mistaking it for being a woman, which in turns implies that they know what both feel like since you need a point of reference
