Not all boomers faults
but yeah they had a heavy had in this bullshit
my folks said that they could have afforded *land* from the wages they got from a paper round or a saturday job
it's just not the same
is it denmark where "useless" degrees get less funding and university places, and useful/in demand expertise gets more allocated to it?
we should honestly take that model
Gas the Boomers
boomers took homogenous societies with high wages & low living expenses and ruined it all within a generation
anyone can still study whatever the fuck they like at a private school, but let's stop loaning 9k/year for 150 theatre undergrads per uni
And blew up fhe house economy
boomers just had the spoils of all the people who died in the wars before and during their childhoods
they're useless, it's a waste of money, and it just produces pointless people with no skills other than being a pain in everyone's ass
I just want a nice log cabin in the woods to die in
build one then
Gen X and Y are both huge fuck ups to the world
defund all non-stem courses tbh
Well we need History and stuff like that in there too.
*Im joking I know the humanities can be important some times*
even stem, really. If you look at chinese 16-18 level courses they're all above the standard of entry level university courses in the UK
Lets euthanize all boomers
the amount of people going to uni is just way too high
the standard lowers so they can keep up
^
but it brings us out of sync with the grads from abroad
well, some of the countries abroad
Uni should go back to being elitist but not with how much money people have, more like for the core subjects
How long before I can go to Uni with only C’s from GSCE boys?
about 4
I'm p sure that was the idea with the tories jacking up university fees
how old are you lorne?
Manchester wanted A* A* A from me Birmingham wanted A*AA. entry requirements arent going down for physics at least
I never went to UNI and I am fine with that.
21
About tree fiddy
fuc sake
Lorne, you are younger than I thought
what I mean torch, is that those grades wouldn't be worth the same level of achievement overseas
I was never an academic (obviously) but now I find it easier to study.
get an A* in further maths a-level & get back to me
