I hear the tried and true defense that evolution is just a theory and never will be more than that. The thing is in science, the highest thing anything can be uplifted to is theory.

Also science always changes so perhaps in 100 years or maybe even 10 years from now we will discover how evolution is wrong. Who knows, but right now science's best theory on the origin of life is the Theory of Evolution.

Gravity can't change as it's a law. A law is basically a theory backed up with mathematical equations. Last time I checked evolution isn't a law so it can definitely change if evidence is found.

Hmm. In the same way, cars has gotten safer and better, computers have gotten faster and cooler, everything we use is gradually bettering itself. No genes no DNA, yet this evolution occurs still. Before the first gene came to be, the ammonia and everything evolved into the first gene.
