Here's the thing about gravity as a theory, it is highly consistent with what the common person an observe in day to day life. But just cause it's consistent within our observation, doesn't mean it is the true explanation. If that makes sense. so here is my simple motto that oddly makes many people furious when i share it:

perception is dependent on reality, but reality is not dependent on perception
