I belive that they follow the curvature of the earth and therefore go out of sight.

Dont get me wrong, the earth or other planets arent exact spheres because of mountains and things like that but its certainly not flat in my opinion.

Man, there's much better evidence out there than the "ships over the horizon" argument. How far you can see is eventually dependent on the refractive index anyway. It's not worth arguing one way or the other.

check this out, when the horizon is centered you can see that it's flat

they use a fisheye lens but if you can center the image you can see the real deal which is that it's flat

all high altitude balloon footage show the same thing, if you center the horizon it's always flat

100k high in altitude and you can still see the horizon being straight, what's the globers excuse now?
