What does one reflect on when they take pride in their success?

2020-03-26 00:34:40 UTC

The work and effort it took to achieve it.

2020-03-26 05:41:51 UTC

What's good for core in quarantine

2020-03-26 05:41:58 UTC

I know situps are homosexual

2020-03-26 05:47:24 UTC

Flutterkicks, if you put your hands under your butt and use your foreams to support your self, as shown in the photo, then count off to yourself for however many you want. Usually done in a 3 count to a candence, or you can hold the positions at 6 inches or 12 inches, or full extension with your legs at a 90 degree angle to you

2020-03-26 05:51:28 UTC

Puts you in the right position to work your core

2020-03-26 05:52:00 UTC

Or plank if you want to be boring

2020-03-26 05:58:01 UTC
2020-03-26 05:58:12 UTC

Beautiful thank you

2020-03-26 05:58:20 UTC

Np

2020-03-26 06:02:11 UTC

Or cockroaches, where you lay on your back with your arms and legs starting fully extended to thse sky, then hold. If you are not feeling anything then move your limbs out like a starfish until you "feel the burn" and hold for a given amount of time

2020-03-26 06:03:55 UTC

Are excersizes where you hold any better than a repeat movement, like pushups are for arms?

2020-03-26 06:04:52 UTC

Cockroaches you hold, flutterkicks you can hold or do repetitions, just find out what works

2020-03-26 06:05:15 UTC

And most importantly, have fun with it

2020-03-26 06:05:51 UTC

But both are exercises

2020-03-26 06:06:04 UTC

Not stretches if that is what you are saying

2020-03-26 06:06:39 UTC

Yeah I know

2020-03-26 06:07:10 UTC

Oh, then I'm not sure what you're asking

2020-03-26 06:08:29 UTC

Well, I mean I was just wondering what was more effective

2020-03-26 06:09:22 UTC

Oh, well that is a good question.

2020-03-26 06:10:07 UTC

There are two primary categories ig for muscle

2020-03-26 06:10:25 UTC

Endurance and strength

2020-03-26 06:10:41 UTC

Both are linked, but different

2020-03-26 06:11:09 UTC

Endurance is you can go longer, while strength is you can hold more

2020-03-26 06:11:42 UTC

Like if I had high endurance for my arms, I can push out a ton of push ups

2020-03-26 06:12:09 UTC

But might not be able to lift any more than what I am when doing push ups

2020-03-26 06:13:20 UTC

But if you have a lot of strength, chances are you can do lighter loads longer as well

2020-03-26 06:14:42 UTC

Like RN I can crank out 35-40 push ups without warming up. But I can't really do that many pull ups, only did flex arm hang for HS gym

2020-03-26 06:15:01 UTC

So just find what works

2020-03-26 06:15:46 UTC

Also, contact your healthcare provider before starting a training regimen and all that.

2020-03-26 06:16:42 UTC

And try to get in to contact with a trainer or someone like that or has way more experience than I do. Only a 17 yo high schooler

2020-03-26 06:17:24 UTC
2020-03-26 06:23:19 UTC

Sounds good

2020-03-26 06:23:32 UTC

I held out a 2 minute plank and that didn't feel healthy

2020-03-26 06:23:36 UTC

So imma work on my core

2020-03-26 22:47:36 UTC

i just do sit ups

2020-03-26 22:47:39 UTC

lots of them

2020-03-27 00:12:27 UTC

@Lekka I used to as well, I hear they aren't as good tho. I wouldn't be a good source on that tho.
