Social credit would used by the govt to control society to do it's bidding and encourage complacency for reward. I can easily see it be abused by other ways, such as a trouble journalist being given a terrible social score, effectively suppressing any free thought. There could also be numerous other examples. We can look at the PRC at the moment and see how it's used there.

What measures, if any, should be put in place to combat climate change? Why or why not and elaborate.

Climate change is inevitable, the only way out is colonization, the world has heated and froze on loop for hundreds of millennium, and wont stop because one species changes what they do.

global population can only be sustained through industrial agriculture which is destructive to the environment

any "steps" taken by liberals to mitigate climate change will only preserve the status quo for themselves

but will only delay the inevitable

It doesn’t have to be industrial agriculture. What liberals typically propose is an emphasis on home and small community agriculture including mostly local and orignal fruits and veggies

We could build arcologies.

Massive self-sustaining or semi-sustaning residential facilities with technologies that-

ah hell we won't be able to afford that.

I say we get ready to go to space.

What is wrong with you guys? What will space give us? Nothing. Any planet that we could possibly go to will already be a million times worse than what climate change is doing here. Space travel isn't getting much better, we can't really have kids in space and raise families and have functioning society. Just reject that idea.

Don't abandon your own planet because some cities on the coast get flooded.

Destroy the modern condition

Rather than use trees as a source of paper hemp should be used. Also unironically genocide solves problems because per 30,000 people is the equivalent of planting 20,000,000 trees. Also stop using fossil fuels and attempt to switch to nuclear power as much as possible. Solution to nuclear waste? Take a desolate area and dedicate 1,000 square miles to nuclear storage (Accounting for rain).

Wars should be fought to destroy armies and military. Civilians should be left out of the fray.

War is part of human life, but should be kept to a minimum. Purpose can't really be pinpointed down to one cause always, but humans are different, and it is the way to resolve issues between nation states

it is the last resort to negotiations between contrasting civilizations/ nations
