I like the idea of a social credit. It could give some people who are morally wishy washy a reason to behave better. It likely wouldn't mean anything to people who are just total douche bags anyway. I guess it would depend on the consequences of "bad credit"

Social credit would used by the govt to control society to do it's bidding and encourage complacency for reward. I can easily see it be abused by other ways, such as a trouble journalist being given a terrible social score, effectively suppressing any free thought. There could also be numerous other examples. We can look at the PRC at the moment and see how it's used there.

Climate change is inevitable, the only way out is colonization, the world has heated and froze on loop for hundreds of millennium, and wont stop because one species changes what they do.

global population can only be sustained through industrial agriculture which is destructive to the environment

any "steps" taken by liberals to mitigate climate change will only preserve the status quo for themselves

but will only delay the inevitable
