2020-02-11 23:52:07 UTC

@21ooAB hopefully

2020-02-11 23:52:21 UTC

Not really a population expert, but with how things are going in the west, possibly

2020-02-11 23:52:51 UTC

Currently the trends are starting to But unfortunately the damage is done

2020-02-11 23:54:45 UTC

Yes

2020-02-11 23:56:58 UTC

Possibly, especially here in the US were democrats are actively refusing to have sex or reproduce over fears of climate change or the world ending in the next ~10 years

2020-02-11 23:58:09 UTC

must be such a small percentage of people that do that for that reason Schnikes

2020-02-12 00:07:12 UTC

@Deleted User Even the birthrate of Africa is declining

2020-02-12 00:07:23 UTC

supposedly it will be 2.0 by the end of the century

2020-02-12 00:07:41 UTC

@21ooAB good

2020-02-12 00:07:56 UTC

Less people= more time before the human race dies

2020-02-12 00:08:09 UTC

Holy shit

2020-02-12 00:08:18 UTC

For the African continent, could it that more education and healthcare is being introduced than say 20 years ago?

2020-02-12 00:08:23 UTC

Trump built a hotel in Niger?

2020-02-12 00:08:27 UTC

Check this out

2020-02-12 00:08:51 UTC

People think I'm a bad person for saying we shouldn't keep people from killing themselves because it's natural selection

2020-02-12 00:09:08 UTC

My defense is to keep the population decreased

2020-02-12 00:09:18 UTC

Am I at the wrong?

2020-02-12 00:10:29 UTC

That's also the case with wars

2020-02-12 00:10:35 UTC

People want to prevent them

2020-02-12 00:10:56 UTC

I say fuck it, let a couple hundred family trees be cut down

2020-02-12 00:11:08 UTC

We need population control

2020-02-12 01:26:31 UTC

dam

2020-02-12 01:35:45 UTC

@21ooAB unfortunately so.

2020-02-12 01:37:13 UTC

Over population's a media buzz term and does not accurately depict conditions on the ground

2020-02-12 01:38:00 UTC

Everytime people say that we'll run out of food or space they move the estimates, why? Because of technology and industrialization

2020-02-12 01:39:10 UTC

The problem is the fact that someone in a 1st world country emits and consumes 100 times the amount of energy compared to someone from the third world

2020-02-12 01:41:26 UTC

So the conversation shouldn't be how to limit our populations to reduce consumption and rather share the resources across class lines and stop having the private and public sectors needlessly use resources whilst other regions could rather use it

2020-02-12 01:45:24 UTC

@LeSickleStauche indeed. We're not overpopulated, merely mismanaged.

2020-02-12 03:49:13 UTC

If a population decreases too much then you have too many old people and not enough young people to take care of them

However we'll probably be growing babies in artificial wombs soon, so who gives a shit at this point

2020-02-12 04:23:50 UTC

Disgusting

2020-02-12 06:27:53 UTC

Yeah, probably eventually that will happen

2020-02-12 06:28:16 UTC

It would have obvious ethical questions

2020-02-12 12:13:01 UTC

China is going through what Silky said, too many older people are retiring and there isn't enough bodies to fill jobs and to exacerbate the situation, there is a huge gender imbalance of like 3:1 male to female or around that.

2020-02-12 18:37:54 UTC

@Deleted User yeah that's a bad thing to say

2020-02-12 18:55:10 UTC

@Draško I still stand by my word, I'm just wonderin

2020-02-12 21:43:57 UTC
