It was interesting while I was at it
It's not very long
> WHY
@Potato is me
Yeah, why?
@Revolt Against Everything how close to death? Spiritually speaking.
Why
Why
Why is why
Begging the question inspires etymological reports.

@Gothik Extravaganza *hits blunt* I say it is close to the point of completely losing the self, either complete Emptiness or Chaos like a living Hell
One may strive all the life to search for such goals just to end up being nothing
Problem is, how does one accept that nothing? Perhaps at that point one may have driven themselves to death or just to survive as they look at each days as nothing more than jokes as they see their own colleagues, friends, family
They may as well pondered each days how foolish people are and how no one is "enough" yet deep down they knew that they are the ones who were foolish
Either way, t'is still the same thing: its still the Death of the Self, Death of Identity, Death of one's own Existence and Being
Pass that blunt this way, @Revolt Against Everything and I'll kindly express how near I am to reaching the death of dreaming, again. Reality isn't all it's cracked up to be and if you take my advice, dear nihilist, you might even see the abyss blink.
@Gothik Extravaganza *pass the blunt* man, i had seen the void blinks as it stares down my very own very small Existence, only God can help me now and I'm dareth not wonder how God works
I saw men falling and men giving up
But for what pride did i not gave up
It was the best option to let it go as one have reached the point when trying to even question let alone trying to answer or even trying to find the answer instead
<@&682288520680964151> What is the meaning of life, in your subjective opinion? Is there an objective meaning of life?
No, there's no objective meaning of life. And for me there's no meaning of life either.
There is a purpose though..
There is no meaning, you've got to make a meaning to it.
yes, life meaning is objective and it is the same for every single organism. It is to fulfill your duty in this world. For the simpler beings, its quite simple, it is to reproduce and spread their seed. But for us humans given that we are alot more complex, its quite complicated
Biological meaning being reproduction, no objective meaning.
^
Reproducing is one of the many abilities of living organisms, which is what keeps nature alive, in most cases. In the case of humans, I'm not sure if it keeps it alive. But the biological purpose of it is not the "objective" purpose of life. Otherwise, women would've been designed to die after they can't bear any children no more.

whyd he get get detained?
If one is to believe in a higher being, and that human logic and reasoning is flawed, we are unable to find objective reason, or really any universal morality ourselves, meaning our only duty is to follow said higher being and - if they are omniscient and omnipotent - their description of meaning will be de facto objective and universal, and if they are omnibenevolent, then what they tell us is either true or a lie that it is best for us to believe. the question then of what is the meaning of life becomes a theological one of what which 'god' has said.
@DrRisen The Meaning of Life of the final Monty Python full length feature film. Personally, I liked Life of Brian better.
uh
I'm not wrong. But I'm not giving the details you were looking for.
@Gothik Extravaganza Well I was thinking 42, but hey, yours works too.
@DrRisen I keep forgetting to bring a towel out wherever I go. 😉
@Kaiser the Meaning of Life, i would say, is the relationship we may have with that God and how we could kinda serve something that is beyond us and our realm like caring for/serve the community, caring for your own family, etc. For us believers, there are 3 types of Meanings(from what i can understand and comprehend), The Grand Meaning that transcends and moves us to do and to be and the Meaning i have said above and finally, the Meaning of the individual and one's image as they live out their life
The 3rd type of Meaning is quite bendable actually, you can say this is where you can create your own Meaning be it good or bad or completely chaotic
@Revolt Against Everything I agree with much of what you wrote but I cannot see how the third meaning of life constitutes anything of real worth
@Kaiser thats the worth you built upon yourself because thats your image as you built yourself up
@Revolt Against Everything and why should this self-defined worth hold any value?
@Kaiser you tell me what it meant, for me, it is meant to just be
Else, i may just be interpreting it wrong but regardless i hold my ground on this
