One of my friends was offered an unconditional scholarship for comp sci at leeds uni (already has an A in maths through accelerated, will probably get 3 more As tbh) which pays more than all student loans and gives him the option for a job straight out of uni. All he has to do is work at the company over the summer, so basically work experience
