I believe that the individual should be before anything else, as everything starts with him. However, if a nation is blood and soil then the people must work for the better meant of each other. Not against each other.
Like in more contemporary political ideologies the worker is pitted against the business owner, and the rich against the poor as in capitalism.
Unlike these people we believe in strength through diversity, we understand that the entrepreneurs have to create jobs, we understand the worker has to work, we understand that the woman has to have children, and that the man has to support those children. We understand the differences between people, and the need to benefit from the differences of them.
The state should ensure that goods are manufactured environmentally minded, paying workers reasonably, and providing reasonable working conditions. As well as making sure that manufacturing doesn't move to some third world hell hole, like it often would in the name of some virtue such as the "free market", in which we are told to compete with third world slave labor.
I also believe that the disconnection between the rich and the poor is a result of individualism being taken to a illogical extreme, similar to the disconnection between men and women. The individual matters as far as he succeeds, beyond that the nation is first the group is first. If something doesn't benefit the country then it should be stripped from the country.
