Supply and demand doesn't just apply to goods, it's why raising the minimum wage decreased employment and such. There is a shortage of demand and an excess in supply.
Dude, giving lots of tax cuts to rich people does not grow the economy
The rich just get richer, and the poor and middle class get shafted
cutting taxes to corporations does
and income taxes barely affect the rich as their money comes from capital gains
@Я миска риса holy shit dude you’re an NPC
Tax cuts to everyone help
Since the rich people save more, and saving grows the economy
For them to save more they need more money so cut taxes
Not to mention more of an incentive to create jobs and invest
The rich get richer and the poor have been getting richer
The middle class has shrunk and the upper class has grown
And nobody is saying only give tax cuts to the rich so stop making straw man arguments up
NPC? @sɪᴅɪsɴᴏᴛʜᴇʀᴇ
yes
But that’s unimportant
The rest of the argument is
What does that mean is what I’m asking
Okay
But anyways
The point is tax cuts help
And have throughout the past
I heard that a majority of the new cuts go to the top earners
MoP
Nope
Infact the lower brackets got most of the cuts
Let me see if I can find the article
So these are the brackets
Now you may say, most of the money went to the highest. But most of the tax is payed by the highest
Which is perfectly fine
Which is not a tax cut to the rich as taxe cuts went to other brackets
He also increased the standard deduction
I can’t find the exact one
But this is the same general idea: https://www.bloomberg.com/graphics/2018-tax-plan-consequences/
