Nah dude just listen to Alexandria "I don't know the three branches of government" Cortez and abolish the rich.
eat the rich
because she knows everything about economics, she has a degree
I honestly believe the government controlling all companies would be better.
But companies still being able to be made by regular people/
🤔
Have the entire economy run by private actors under state-owned businesses and industry?
That sounds unnecessary and hard to manage at best
I do not approve
Even me, a libgay, thinks that’s too much government in the economy
A nation with a planned economy is good.
Everything is planned out.
The government I think should own all major corporations and companies.
While the small ones are government funded and supported.
No
not at all
Giving the government total control of the economy is a terrible idea and it never works
it has failed every single time
Not every time.
*failed
Dang good point there.
But if skilled people manage the economy.
The only time I can say the government having control of the economy worked is China
Yes.
And The PRC is a world industrial power, strongest military power, the giant of Asia.
It's also corrupt as hell and essentially a dystopia
But it has failed in so many other places
its a terrible system
and doesn't work
that's a fact
You can try and spin it all you want, but Communism fails. Socialism fails and will fail as well. Putting democratic in front of a word doesn't change it.
The only reason government control failed is because that people who cannot manage it were implaced.
Its not just that
The people become too dependent on the government
Capitalism works because the people have to work for what they want, and trade is voluntary.
Communism and socialism fail because it goes by a "You have what I want, so give it to me" stance.
and people just become dependent on the government.
Very true.
If you let socialists get elected, people will be lazy, the economy will fail.
