I don't actually have a problem with black people in general, and have even identified two sub-groups within the community

2018-10-17 16:14:54 UTC

the first group is one that I like, and wish they were in the majority; sadly, they aren't 😦

2018-10-17 16:15:36 UTC

the Nice Blacks are people who have jobs, go to work, don't cause trouble, the husbands often stay with the wives and help them raise kids, and they usually are nice to be around

2018-10-17 16:15:46 UTC

I have neighbors like this in my current neighborhood

2018-10-17 16:16:26 UTC

the other group is the one that everyone stereotypes the entire black community with, and that's the Rat Blacks, the ones who cause trouble

2018-10-17 16:16:40 UTC

you can use your imagination as to what characteristics they have

2018-10-17 16:17:12 UTC

Das wacist

2018-10-17 16:17:25 UTC

just remember, the door of racism swings both ways

2018-10-17 16:17:39 UTC

although, the words "cracker" and "honkey" don't register with me

2018-10-17 16:18:03 UTC

I would keep wondering why you're calling us saltines and geese

2018-10-17 16:18:17 UTC

although, not so much anymore 😉

2018-10-17 16:31:25 UTC

i dont have an agenda. i use a trapperkeeper

2018-10-17 16:45:22 UTC

@Obungus your here as well I see

2018-10-17 17:05:37 UTC

@LadyAquanine I've seen myself that the different subcategories like to segregate themselves into different social media outlets. The nicer ones are a lot more present on facebook, while the ghetto trash prefer kik and soundcloud

2018-10-17 17:06:20 UTC

Although there are some exceptions, that's generally how I've observed it going

2018-10-17 17:08:15 UTC

~~I found this out when scouting to see if I could rally them into mobs to terrorize white suburbs, in order to accelerate society's downfall~~

2018-10-17 17:37:10 UTC

bye

2018-10-17 17:54:54 UTC

Good lord you guys are hard on black people

2018-10-17 18:57:06 UTC

my approach has softened a lot in the past 20 years

2018-10-17 18:57:13 UTC

I used to get in fights with them all the time as a kid

2018-10-17 18:57:22 UTC

now I either avoid them or am polite when I encounter them

2018-10-17 18:57:28 UTC

I even dated a black man

2018-10-17 19:38:14 UTC

They’re just normal people

2018-10-17 19:39:19 UTC

Hey peeps here I have a question for everybody: what does intelligence look like to you? Not examples, but specifically, what seem like characteristics of brilliant, sharp individuals?

2018-10-17 19:43:34 UTC

people who are respectful and dont just insult people when they argue *cough* **benshapiro** *cough*

2018-10-17 19:44:23 UTC

I’d say that’s more courteous than intelligent, but I see those things correlated a lot, personally

2018-10-17 19:45:15 UTC

also jusst being kind and respectful in general

2018-10-17 19:46:23 UTC

Some brilliant intelligent people can be assholes.

2018-10-17 19:46:35 UTC

ben shapiro

2018-10-17 19:48:04 UTC

Ive also seen many stupid people who are kind and respectful

2018-10-17 19:48:11 UTC

I don’t think kindness is intelligence necessarily

2018-10-17 19:48:35 UTC

But I’m interested in intelligence: how do you tell a smart person from a dumb one?

2018-10-17 19:49:47 UTC

Thats a tough question. Have conversations with them. See how they discuss topics or perceive things. Get to know them. Everyone is different so it just depends.

2018-10-17 19:50:55 UTC

Intelligent people definitely discuss and perceive things differently in my experience

2018-10-17 19:55:04 UTC

My family is best friends with another family, who for the most part have all gone to Ivy League schools on full rides (and are no means rich). They compete in scrabble tournaments locally, read tons of books, and pick up programming languages super easily. I’m by no means a genius but I feel like I know at least a couple geniuses. My experiences with them is that the way they see issues is always with nuance. They aren’t interested in finding a position, they just want to know more about the problem, which often informs their activism should it exist. Is this what you guys see?

2018-10-17 19:55:57 UTC

Yeah pretty much. Theyre open minded and dig into things rather than quickly judging and ignoring details

2018-10-17 19:57:06 UTC

I think it can also be hard to distinguish between someone genuinely exploring nuance and someone faking nuance to push an idea.

2018-10-17 19:57:17 UTC

Curiosity vs obfuscation

2018-10-17 19:57:28 UTC

Both of which can come from intelligent people

2018-10-17 19:57:48 UTC

Mhm. And also you could find people who dont care, therefore dont look at the nuances, but are still highly intelligent
