Obama wanted to raise the minimum wage
He didn’t freak out and close the government over it and refused to compromise unless he got exactly what he wanted
But due to checks and balances he wasn’t able to raise it

Ronald Reagan was extremely good at compromising and getting things done which was why his presidency was so successful
