It’s was glorious, I love cold weather.

2018-11-22 19:40:32 UTC

We aren’t used to the cold, lol

2018-11-22 19:40:37 UTC

It’s always hot as hell here

2018-11-22 19:40:42 UTC

Lol I was hitting 30s (90-100f) where I was

2018-11-22 19:40:53 UTC

Where is everyone from?

2018-11-22 19:40:57 UTC

Mississippi

2018-11-22 19:41:01 UTC

Aotearoa

2018-11-22 19:41:18 UTC

2018-11-22 19:41:21 UTC

Tennessee

2018-11-22 19:41:30 UTC
2018-11-22 19:41:33 UTC

But I’m from California

2018-11-22 19:41:39 UTC

I recently moved here

2018-11-22 19:41:47 UTC

So many muricans

2018-11-22 19:41:48 UTC

Why on earth would you make a move like that?

2018-11-22 19:42:08 UTC

Family/work?

2018-11-22 19:42:15 UTC

Family mainly

2018-11-22 19:42:18 UTC

Gotcha

2018-11-22 19:42:50 UTC

And it was a good excuse to finally leave CA

2018-11-22 19:43:05 UTC

Let’s move this to <#515244964083531825>

2018-11-22 20:19:57 UTC

What is a safe to talk about without making someone annoyed men's rights issue?

2018-11-22 20:20:16 UTC

MGM

2018-11-22 20:20:25 UTC

Okay thank you

2018-11-22 20:20:32 UTC

If someone is annoyed by that, then they’ve got issues.

2018-11-22 20:23:17 UTC

I've had a few Facebook arguments that say otherwise. If you talking to a older parent who already snipped get kids, it's going to be rather difficult to get them recognize they did something wrong.

2018-11-22 20:24:38 UTC

What is mgm?

2018-11-22 20:25:12 UTC

Circumcision but there might be more about it

2018-11-22 20:25:32 UTC

Oh ok thanks

2018-11-24 08:56:25 UTC

Male Genital Mutilation is sadly an issue that is not taken seriously by a lot of people. British TV has even had women joking about it (and worse things, like complete genital amputation).

I hope in the future we will see a move to ban this horrific practice. It is NOT normal to want to cut off part of your child.

2018-11-24 11:15:18 UTC

The laughter when a man gets his genitals amputated always makes me furious and afraid for where society is going. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUna51rI_eQ

Most of us have probably already seen that, but I watch it about once a year to remind myself what we are fighting. That's not even the only show that had to launch a (sniggering) apology about women giggling because this woman castrated her husband and nearly killed him.

2018-11-24 14:00:17 UTC

@Skellious you are so right. It is sick.

2018-11-24 14:05:55 UTC

There was a thing about teaching circumcision written by a nurse on the Reddit, and they literally don't care how much pain the boy is in. Or how bad they screw up his dick.

2018-11-24 19:41:53 UTC

Look at all the people just flat out assuming he beat and abused her from one photo....

2018-11-24 19:44:02 UTC

"If he’s begging her forgiveness we don’t know what he did. She could be in the right." Is correct. It's not really right for us to speculate either way

2018-11-24 20:08:12 UTC

I don't think the post is meant to illustrate he's not guilty of something during the marriage, only to show that people assume he is guilty

2018-11-24 20:08:18 UTC

@turbulance4 read a bit further down.

2018-11-24 20:11:43 UTC

From one photo they get everything from black eyes covered by sunglasses to a lifetime of abuse. I'm not even saying it isn't true - only that it's a whopping assumption and that she could just as easily be the abuser. Only they downvote everyone who even says that it's an assumption.

2018-11-25 07:42:39 UTC

Isn't it that in most abusive relations that both partners are at fault? that violence reciprocates violence?

2018-11-25 07:43:25 UTC

AFAIK yes

2018-11-25 08:25:46 UTC

A lot of times violence is mutual
