but lo, he's hospitalized

2019-03-01 23:08:26 UTC

That isn't true about the firearm

2019-03-01 23:08:33 UTC

Sorry I was in the grocery store

2019-03-01 23:08:45 UTC

If hes in voluntarily committed then yes as firearm ownership rates are usually suspended

2019-03-01 23:09:02 UTC

But you are able to get them back it's just I went the court battle

2019-03-01 23:09:18 UTC

A lengthy court battles

2019-03-01 23:09:51 UTC

If you commit yourself voluntarily none of that happens

2019-03-01 23:10:47 UTC

Mental institutions have their place and their role

2019-03-01 23:11:30 UTC

They're usually able to diagnose and treat you much more quickly and effectively when going through outpatient psychiatry

2019-03-01 23:11:46 UTC

It can take a very long time to get in to see a therapist or a psychiatrist as a new patient

2019-03-01 23:12:01 UTC

And many outpatient places at least here in the States are requiring you to go to therapy to be treated by their psychiatrist

2019-03-01 23:12:16 UTC

So if you're bipolar but stable and just need your meds he have to go to therapy in order to be able to continue to get them

2019-03-01 23:12:23 UTC

That's not true I saw one that was actually pretty good

2019-03-01 23:12:37 UTC

He was like an old school psychotherapist and he had AAP HD

2019-03-01 23:12:41 UTC

Phd

2019-03-01 23:13:00 UTC

I only had one session with the guy but he mean me feel a 100 times better than I had felt about things

2019-03-01 23:13:12 UTC

Basically long story short I had a flaying about 18 years ago

2019-03-01 23:13:19 UTC

I may have had a kid that I never met

2019-03-01 23:13:39 UTC

And I felt all this guilt but it was a weird situation I didn't want to jump in and demanded task because that ruins through kids relationship with his dad

2019-03-01 23:13:53 UTC

Demanding tests *

2019-03-01 23:14:25 UTC

He made me feel a lot better about that by pointing out that she was the one who would know whether or not I was the dad

2019-03-01 23:14:53 UTC

And that i had no way of knowing

2019-03-01 23:15:04 UTC

He also made me feel a lot better about dropping out of high school

2019-03-01 23:15:34 UTC

Basically there was no way in could have finished with all of the violence and shit at home every night

2019-03-01 23:15:50 UTC

But you're right a lot of them are useless

2019-03-01 23:16:01 UTC

I saw this one guy for I don't know 7 or 8 sessions

2019-03-01 23:16:06 UTC

They were all pretty much useless

2019-03-01 23:16:27 UTC

Well who knows if your diagnosis is even write

2019-03-01 23:16:39 UTC

Inpatient places are much better at diagnosing people because they observe you around-the-clock

2019-03-01 23:16:47 UTC

Not just for one hour week

2019-03-01 23:16:57 UTC

What's your diagnosis if you don't mind my asking?

2019-03-01 23:17:16 UTC

Yeah that could be a tough one to deal with when

2019-03-01 23:18:10 UTC

May I ask how long you've had that diagnosis?

2019-03-01 23:26:50 UTC

Well good luck man. I doubt I could say anything to help.

2019-03-02 14:09:54 UTC

Huh. I guess they deleted their own messages?

2019-03-02 14:10:00 UTC

Weird.

2019-03-02 14:32:10 UTC

Yeah

2019-03-03 11:16:49 UTC

Saw this and thought it looked interesting. Seems like violence against men is totally okay!

2019-03-03 11:16:52 UTC

reddit /u/Zamop posted a new link in /r/MensRights
Australia to ban people who are convicted of violence against women and children. - https://redd.it/aws53i

2019-03-03 17:17:15 UTC

It's fairly typical that violence against men isn't seen to be as damaging as violence against women. Sadly, it's much harder to convict women of the domestic violence they commit, and some innocent male victims will be included in this ban because of the inability to see women as abusers. It is 100% unacceptable to be basing policy on sexism.
