There are places on reddit where defending a man in even the most innocuous of ways will get you downvoted or even banned
I guess Iām just really new to reddit
I was banned from TwoX for exactly that, basically saying "All men are not rapists and it's understandable they wouldn't like to be painted that way"
I'm glad I left that shithole
I saw TwoX and got scared, so completely ran tf away from that sub
i thought twox is SOMEWHAT reasonable
Donāt men have more then two X chromosomes though
Doesnāt everyone actually?
I made my reddit account 3 years ago or so and back then you were auto-subbed to TwoX, so naturally when I saw something anti-male pop up on my dash I'd go try and have a conversation
didn't last long
Why were you autosubbed?
Feminist admins probably set it so every new acc autosubbed to it to make the sub look popular
I dunno I was autosubbed to a lot of stuff, /r/pics, /r/aww, /r/dataisbeautiful, I guess the normal stuff reddit slapped onto peoples accounts as a "starter kit"
just so happened to include TwoX
I heard the reddit admins have been targeting a lot of men's right related subs
How so?
Someone on /r/mensrights said they shut down a men's liberation subreddit
they didn't say which though so idk
i know of menslib which is definitely NOT pro MRA
I donāt think Menās Lib was shutdown...
other than the auxillaries of MR
Right.
hey, at least we have more subs than /r/feminism
I'm surprised reddit didn't cut the sub number down
I imagine you mean TRP and MGTOW subs
TPR?
Did they get shut down?
Theredpill
oh
Admin disdain on Reddit for men's orientated subs is clear really from what they allow with subs like r/against mens rights
But that's not gonna stop us speaking out on the issues
This emotional labor stuff is a bit goofy. Apparently men don't provide any emotional support
the original link you posted was fafsa š ironically also relevant since men have to sign up for the draft to receive financial aid
Yeah
I see this "emotional labor" thing pop up more and more and I don't get it. Make up your mind, feminists, are men allowed to talk about their issues or aren't they?
They always argue that men don't talk about their feelings and then when a man seeks some support it's now emotional labor
I think a big problem is people see feminism as some monolithic idea
In reality it has no basis in anything, and there is no central organization. So it's whatever each idiot wants it to be.
It's allowed to have totally contradictory positions as long as those positions don't offend any women.
