The Valentine's Day gap: "Americans are expected to spend $20.7 billion on Valentine’s Day this year ... Men will spend the most on the holiday, an average of $339. Women spend around $64" - https://redd.it/aqmxb3

That kinda sums up the double standards in play here.
it comes from the romantic archetype that Men are expected to pursue Women
which is a culture that the #MeToo movement is smothering
I wish women would pursue men so
yeah, same
It is a shame they don't. The only stories I hear about it happening tend to be the ones that would get a man put in prison.
I want to feel valued and wanted
Life stinks sometimes
I'm sure you can find someone who bucks the trend. Every average has an outlier, and every rule an exception. 😃
Not in my area
I read a book about a society where women were expected to initiate and pursue men during courtship
and when a man tried to initiate or pursue a woman it was considered vulgar and unseemly
I feel like that is where we are headed
men pursuing women will be looked down upon as desperate or inappropriate
women will initiate all romantic overtures
well women won't ever start approaching men
so if men stop approaching completely
then that's it for the human race
well if the radical feminists perfect that sperm-free fertilization technology they'll start actively calling for the death of all men
so that'll be fun to look forward to
honestly once that happens
we need to segregate the genders completely
I wonder who feminists will blame for their failures once there are literally no men left to blame
Then again they'll probably just go down the list by "progressive stack" logic
there is a competing technology that would create sperm and ovum from skin cells
which would eliminate the need for women OR men... a gender neutral version so to speak
still faces the problem of the artificial womb though
which last I checked no one is close to yet
What's the point anymore after that?
That will kill a large part of what makes us human
well i understand why people want "designer babies"
artificial womb makes sense too
no childbirth, no risks
test
Yeah but how long until parents begin modeling their kids after anime charecters
........
.....that...sounds like something i would do
>you were born too soon to have parents that could model you after an anime pretty boy
