I'm unsure what most are supposed to accomplish. Several seem to March against things that are already illegal

I, even though I've been sexually assaulted, hate the idea of belive the victim, and would honestly not be mortally offended if one of my friends said they didn't believe me

While I can definetly see how a victim may feel hopeless when people don't believe them, I think it is nevertheless important to mantain the value of "innocent until proven guilty". If our government can punish us without evidence of wrongdoing, what stops them from doing this everywhere else?

Not to mention how, on the opposite side of the story, where someone has been falsely accused, having your life ruined and being put in jail by a liar is a very traumatizing experience.

It is still possible to be comforting to someone going though a trauma without jumping the gun and assuming everything they say is accurate, for some reason a lot of feminists seem to think that if you don’t believe someone you are actively accusing them of being a liar, like you can’t be supportive and sceptical at the same time
