Took over an hour to get to the bottom and down vote all the idiots

2019-02-25 03:40:23 UTC

A few good laughs in there though

2019-02-25 04:10:18 UTC

I'm kinda surprised the troll/rando commenters aren't deleted on the r/fem subs thread about it

2019-02-25 04:10:27 UTC

'yet'

2019-02-25 04:11:03 UTC

Guess I should prolly check my other account for something distracting to do

2019-02-25 11:31:49 UTC

I would like to add I am also in a relationship with a male feminist, I think he was a bit more extreme when we first met but he has come more into center lately, I like to think that his perspective is healthy for me too, the worst thing you can do to yourself is let yourself get trapped in an echo chamber, it's why a lot of those stereotypical feminists seem so out of touch.

2019-02-25 13:22:31 UTC

Female privilege lol

2019-02-25 13:22:45 UTC

To bring their partners to the center

2019-02-25 14:53:11 UTC

@Abbysol definitely, to that point i think the MRM is very centered but we always need to keep that awareness and not let ourselves drift

2019-02-25 20:43:45 UTC

Has anyone seen the Umbrella Academy on Netflix? I'm on episode six right now and it's great

2019-02-26 02:21:40 UTC

Well the mother contacted me today

2019-02-26 02:21:49 UTC

Apparently she got the message from the police

2019-02-26 02:22:11 UTC

She is "looking for the birth certificate and will drop it off with the police"

2019-02-26 02:22:19 UTC

And "dont contact her family again"

2019-02-26 02:22:53 UTC

I basically responded by asking her not to contact me.the next time her daughter goes missing for a few days

2019-02-26 02:24:05 UTC

Then followed up by basically saying I won't contact her, but that I would contact anyone else I wanted to including members of "her family"

2019-02-26 02:24:37 UTC

And that if and when that happens those individuals can let me know if they do not wish for me to contact them

2019-02-26 02:24:56 UTC

I dont know what the lady was expecting

2019-02-26 02:25:17 UTC

Did she think she would just get to keep my birth certificate ?

2019-02-26 02:26:00 UTC

I asked repeatedly for her to return it and warned I would be going to the police.

Hello @SteveHen !

2019-02-26 16:32:36 UTC

What is the appropriate counter to women focused meetings at work?

2019-02-26 17:31:55 UTC

At work? Well presumably it would be focused on leadership skills and such. If that's the case, it's unfairly giving women an opportunity to thrive in the company which men are denied because of their sex

2019-02-27 00:10:57 UTC

They have meetings for women in tech (not the real name of the meeting) but invite everyone.

2019-02-27 00:12:11 UTC

Eh, so everyone just kinda discusses women being in tech, what they contribute or something 0_o

2019-02-27 00:13:09 UTC

I don't know. I've never gone. I'm guessing other men don't go either.

2019-02-27 00:13:34 UTC

Maybe my counter is to go to the meeting.

2019-02-27 00:13:50 UTC

With coworkers. To see what they have to say.

2019-02-27 00:16:19 UTC

Yea useful to know what it is really ^^;

2019-02-27 04:21:27 UTC

2019-02-27 05:37:32 UTC

Does anyone else get a really really strong R/Entitled Parents vibe from that place? I've just started listening to Entitled Parents podcasts and YouTube videos and it's really shocking how many of them are entitled mothers. I'm talking like 90% of all posts or more feature an entitled mother. Sometimes with a similar father in tow - but the really interesting thing is that usually the dad is super apologetic and often pays for damages. You get false rape threats and I've heard at least two or three that were basically murder attempts. Obviously some are probably fake - but most of the ones that make it to podcasts are likely real. Has anyone else noticed this?

2019-02-27 12:14:14 UTC

I've noticed that 90% of the parents in r/raisedbynarcissists are the mothers
