Unfortunately /r/childfree is plagued by misandrists and feminists.

2019-03-10 23:12:26 UTC

Where they seek to blame men for everything

2019-03-10 23:12:38 UTC

"Men control women"
"Men don't want any child rearing duties"

2019-03-10 23:12:46 UTC

Never been to that sub personally... I'm sure there are some people who don't wanna have kids here

2019-03-10 23:12:52 UTC

I don't like kids, but I'm fairly certain a lot of men love being dads.

2019-03-10 23:13:04 UTC

And I love nothing more than to see more ofthem tbh.

2019-03-10 23:13:21 UTC

That sub is triggering me every time I go there, there are a few gem posts every so often

2019-03-10 23:15:21 UTC

Ah, I've never been there personally. I'm sure there are some people here who don't wanna have kids though

2019-03-10 23:24:01 UTC

did you just... repeat yourself without realizing it?

2019-03-10 23:24:26 UTC

It said the first one didn't send :/

2019-03-10 23:24:30 UTC

Oh well

2019-03-10 23:24:33 UTC

lol

2019-03-11 12:38:49 UTC

Interesting ideas.

2019-03-11 12:44:04 UTC

Can't say I'm fond of the abortion parts, but it is a fair system for the parents.

2019-03-11 14:09:12 UTC

Yeah

2019-03-11 14:09:23 UTC

What don't you like about the abortion parts ?

2019-03-11 15:41:29 UTC

Well, at risk of starting a huge debate, I think it's very unethical and the arguments for it sound suspiciously like dodgy feminist logic.

2019-03-11 15:42:58 UTC

I do know that having a baby you don't want is an awful thing, and I do sympathise, but that doesn't change my personal feelings about the procedure.

2019-03-11 15:45:21 UTC

The whole issue essentially comes down to if you believe a foetus is conscious or not, or perhaps if you believe in potential life of a child? The latter of which is a terrible argument

2019-03-11 15:45:46 UTC

Regarding the former, 'nothing more should be presumed to exist than absolutely necessary'

2019-03-11 15:55:23 UTC

Without it being proven that the foetus is actually conscious, it isn't unethical to terminate it

2019-03-11 17:50:29 UTC

We should take this to <#515246258571575297> if we're going to talk about it - although I'm going to say upfront that I don't think pro abortion arguments are very convincing. I'll leave it up to you.

2019-03-11 17:59:31 UTC

So, what's everyone up to today?

2019-03-11 18:13:04 UTC

Slow cooking foods

2019-03-11 18:13:26 UTC

I'm looking at an 82" tv I might get.. been saving for ages

2019-03-11 19:05:02 UTC

That's a lot of inches.

2019-03-11 19:05:33 UTC

XD

2019-03-11 19:48:40 UTC

Yep it's big ;)

2019-03-11 19:49:24 UTC

I've been wanting a bigger tv for a long time... But there was always something else to get

2019-03-11 20:04:38 UTC

Getting a sound system for that monster? ;)

2019-03-11 20:05:19 UTC

I'm always interested in people's setups

2019-03-11 20:05:39 UTC

I already have a sound system. It's not a good one though. Might take me a while to upgrade that

2019-03-11 20:07:13 UTC

This one

2019-03-11 20:07:41 UTC

Seems good. Decent price too.

2019-03-11 20:10:06 UTC

Idk, there are a lot of better ones out there which probably blow this one away

2019-03-11 20:12:57 UTC

I always liked those Sony 5:1 package setups that come with all the speakers plus a blue ray player. They're pretty affordable if you are looking for good quality sound. Friend got one that was ex display or clearence.

2019-03-11 20:14:11 UTC

Couldn't tell you the price, but he said it was "very reasonable", or something to that effect.

2019-03-11 20:15:21 UTC

= free = stolen xD

2019-03-11 23:42:41 UTC

I used to watch a lot of pirated tv shows and movies
