Hitler would have won ww2 if he didn't invade Yugoslavia
Change my mind
The fuck
Lol
Leaf
No
no
just no
The invasion of Yugoslavia delayed Barbarossa by a month
How will I recover
Which is why the Germans invaded in June
Hitler could not win unless he assisted Italy in securing the Balkans and North Africa, securing the Middle East, and then get Turkey to allow them to move troops in their territorial boundaries, which would never have happened
Hitler was *always going to lose.* Like, there's one way that I can see him *keeping the Reich,* that is, he never starts Eastern Front and instead after getting France etc. Western Europe takes on a defensive posture and makes sure that any Soviet invasion would fail if attempted.
But there was not any way to win against USSR, not in the way that Hitler intended.
If they invaded in May, they would have reached Moscow by October and captured Stalin
If he had done that as well as actually helped the Ukrainians and other minorities against the USSR then he would've had a chance
That would've done jack shit actually
IMPLYING STALIN WOULD HANG AROUND IN MOSCOW
Taking USSR would've never, ever depended on taking Moscow
If its obvious that Moscow would fall he would fucking leave
^
He did stay in Moscow @Spookaswa
But it didn't fall
Even if they did take Moscow they would still fight
Stalin is retarded lol
they had 6 million troops on the other side of the mountains, as well as all their military industrial complex bases
like
Of course not
Like in the Napoleonic wars
the war was lost in 1941
But he refused to abandon it
and further, they DIDN'T HAVE THE BLOODY OIL
none of it
it was running out
wehrmacht dead in the water
And if they captured Moscow, all the rail ways in ALL of Russia would have been cut off
Muh central planning lmao
They would need to get as far as the Urals in order for the USSR to be neutralized
Further, we know that during the Battle of Moscow, the Wehrmacht was halted. As in, it suffered casualties probably in the hundreds of thousands - we'll probably never know how much exactly - and the *thrust was halted.*
You think that the USSR would just bend over because muh railways?
