coops are cool
is beyond me
worker-coops are not just cool, they are clearly superior
but this is mainly for bigger industries
i mean its basically a huge coop
Not really. Also, there are shareholders external to the enterprise's labour force
so it can't be a worker-coop
or comparable
except shareholders are on a leash
the financial sector doesn't dominate industry like it does in capitalism
or they are got rid of
like what hitler did
international finance is cancer
yes but worker-coop is defined by
a) only being constituted by the workers of the coop
b) everyone has 1 vote
c) everyone has equal share
so it wouldn't be the same thing imo
i would say coops work on a smaller scale, apart from mondragon, i dunno, they are pretty comparable i think. way more democratic than capitalism
Mondragon shows that they can work on quite large scale
eh Syndicates are better
thats what i meant
i mean syndicalism like the falange and the corporatist state are pretty much the same thing
worker-coop federations would be a good way forward, at least before proper socialism/communism is established at political level
what do you think of small business overall
I think self-employment is totally valid
right.
what about owning one
change my mind
Dang, I could have presented that one better
self-employment, worker-cooperatives and various free labour collectives would be the three forms of employment I'd recognise
i think small business in its current form is okay, so are coops, but big business is the greatest threat and the biggest abuser in capitalism
sure
and the (((FINANCE CLASS)))
capitalism itself as a system must be taken down imo, and the approach must be consistent
otherwise it will find a backdoor to sneak back in
hmm you might have a point
ultimately, the Soviet model of common planning is the best one in my own view, at least when it utilises the regional economic soviet model and allows for coops to exist in the periphery as free labour associations
do you know any books about that?
there are some yes, you might find my latest share on <#507036888205623296> interesting, it pertains to Brezhnev era USSR's political economy but it might be a decent enough place to start. I also have shared the Fundamentals of Marxism-Leninism here before which has a very, very broad scope of issues that it discusses and explains about the Soviet system and the thinking behind it (although this is from Khrushchevite era perspective)
alright cuul
no probs
seems interesting, just from the table of contents
lmao
i love these type of memes
pretty good editing
basically a commie truediltom
