I am not a catholic myself but I don't think it is very intelectually honest to use pedophilic scandals as a stepping stone for an attack towards Catholicism. Firstly Orthodox and Protestant churches have such incidents as well. Secondly... I am not really convinced that there is any overrepresentation of priests in pedophilics scandals when compared to for example teachers.
