A Living Sacrifice

I'm a retired teacher, and one of my long-ago students emailed a long letter today to tell me his ex-wife managed to use our busted court system to take his four children away from him permanently. I ask your prayers of comfort and strength for Beau. I would post a photo of him and his kids for focus, but let's go with just this much.

For those of you who have prayed for our nephew Tim, he is recovering very well, he has a hematoma next to one of his gunshots that is worrisome. He is sitting up, able to walk to the bathroom and is just a miracle to all of us. Thank you so much for your prayers.

Lord please comfort the young girls who were victims of the horrible crimes committed in Britain against hundreds of girls who were sold in to sex slavery. And please comfort the victims of the senseless acts of random violence in our country in Austin and MD. Pray we will come together as a nation and heal from this polarizing intolerance and unhealthy anger stemming from spiritual demise. Help us to recognize the enemy for what it is and give us the discernment to know when to listen for your voice and where to find the path you have made for each of us. In your name I pray. Amen
