This bothered my to no end.. I finally just closed up and shut down my hosting business, and retired.

Then a local company decided to switch ALL their servers over to this Plesk platform. Deep in side, I have always felt that if there are this many servers running this server software, and they have back doors into them LEGALLY, what is not to stop them from snooping around into the various websites and dig around into secrets? Customer data, etc.

This company was eventually sold to SWSoft based out of Virginia, but still most the principles of that company are Russian. now not all Russians are evil.. but think of the implications?

Just wanted to put that out there, because for me I felt very uncomfortable knowing that a Russian based company had access to my server any time they wanted.

Not that anything on my server was important.. but the local company is hosting city and other Government websites..
