I will add that Dr. Ford's difficulty in breathing, with involuntary shallow breathing (rising shoulders) and with the involuntary opening of her mouth to breathe, can only be due to some strong psychoactive medications which are affecting her brainstem activity. I have seen people who have overdosed, and this was precisely the way they behaved. Yes, it is a neurological sign.

This is a universal hand gesture for "all." In other words, a group of people had conspired to encourage her to seek a polygraph and to seek that certain professional. That was quite funny. Due to the two hour rule we are adjourned. Vote next week to confirm. Flake basically said if they would commit to drop the nonsense he would ask for a week. Seemed they did not agree to do that.
Nah. Flake said they would only get his vote on the FINAL vote if they delay for a week and have an thorough FBI investigation. The Judiciary Committee does not have the power to do that.
He did say that. But then he added why he was considering this. Making clear he wanted an agreement in return.
The Democrats did not say they endorsed that. They did not say they would agree with the week being sufficient. They said this was all on him. He basically said not so.
Now there is one Democrat who wants the week and it seems he feels that is sufficient. Time will tell what Flake will insist on.
